Priority One Medical Transport, Inc.

Ambulance Division

The Ambulance Division of Priority One is responsible for providing 24/7 emergency response to the residents and guests of the community.

It is not Uncommon for our ambulance crews to answer multiple calls for assistance in a 24 hour period. Calls for help are prioritized by our dispatchers in order of life-threatening versus non-life threatening.

Every ambulance and our response vehicles are licensed by the Department of Health as basic and advance life support units.

Our ambulances carry tools, supplies, and medications similar to those found in an emergency room. Some of our equipment includes and EKG (heart monitor), defibrillator, external pacemaker, intravenous supplies and medications, advanced airway equipment with specialized monitoring, and much more.

Ambulance Staffing

Each advanced and basic life support ambulance is staffed by at least one or two EMTs and a Paramedic. Curious about what an EMT and Paramedic do? Click the links to find out more.
