Headquarted in North Braddock, Pennsylvania, Priority One provides basic and advanced medical care and/or transportation to the communities of Braddock, East Pittsburgh, North Braddock, Rankin, and neighboring areas as requested. We are also the primary medical provider for long acute, long term, and rehabilitation facilities. And with continued community support, we can ensure you receive the highest quality of service and care.
In cooperation with Allegheny County Emergency Operations Center, we operate a 24/7 dispatch center. All ambulance and wheelchair van communications are handled in our center. When you dial 9-1-1 and request Priority One, the 9-1-1 dispatcher tele-electronically connects with a Priority One dispatcher. Simultaneously, the dispatchers obtain your information for rapid response of an ambulance.
For the community,
we offer presentations about health and safety, CPR and first aid courses, and continuing education for medical professionals. We also provide special medical services to other public safety personnel in or around our area.
And because quick response is important in time of need, additional support is added to our communities with off-duty employees. These individuals respond to calls from their homes and/or place of business to the scene of an emergency, providing intitial care while the ambulance may still be minutes away.
